BOD has been part of the New York City music scene for over a decade ago.  A distinct cover band with a mission to be the band that, on any given night, gives our audience the most fun they’ve ever had- where every show is special, exciting and unforgettable! Well known in and around the Tri-state area, BOD has participated several citiy-sponsored events including the NYC Marathon (headlining at the finish line), the the NYC Triathlon, the Queens 10k and the NJ Marathon, as well as large corporate events, weddings, and charity functions benefiting amazing causes and organizations like St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

BOD's set list is jam-packed with every crowd-friendly cover song you’ve ever known, heard, and loved. They are a passionate group of talented, professional and dedicated high-energy musicians doing what they absolute love to do.

• Barry Friedman - Lead Vocals and Guitar

• Dennis Rossi - Keyboards

• Tony Mancebo - Bass and Backing Vocals

• Mark Maffei - Drums and Backing Vocals

 

With thousands of gigs under their belts, each member has been performing and playing music for more than 30 years.  Though each member has worked with other equally successful bands in the past, they all admit to having more fun with BOD than anywhere else.

You can see and hear BOD in their true element and natural habitat at Wicked Willy's on Bleecker Street in the heart of New York City's West Village where they headline at least once per month as well as at their legendary rum-soaked events on St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Cinco de Mayo, Santa Con and New Year’s Eve.
